Ranking & Promotion in the World Shorin-Ryu Karate-Do Federation

Junior Ranks will enter the Adult Rank structure at age 16. Their Sensei will determine at what point in the rank structure they will enter based on their abilities and knowledge.

Junior Black Belts beginning at age 16 will be eligible to test for Shodan (Adult 1st Degree) when their Sensei determines that they are ready.

WSKF Pre-Junior Ranks Ages 4 to 6

WSKF Junior Ranks Ages 7 -15

WSKF Adult Ranks Ages 16 and UP

WSKF Adult Black Belt Nidan (2nd Degree) to Godan (5th Degree)
